Whipalong Program
Programs
This program offers volunteers the opportunity to train and work with horses in a pristine environment. The aim is to involve volunteers in the daily routine of a horse trainer.
This program is presented in the small town of Kampersrus, at the foot of the Drakensberg. This environment ensures that both horse and student are in close contact with the spectacular surroundings.
The horses come from an abusive background and were brought in as rescue cases. It is therefore amazing to see how a horse gets transformed from an aggressive, nervous horse to a confident, relaxed ride through lots of perseverance, patience and love.
